Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement: Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể

Đoàn Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể St. Polycarp (TNTTSP), a local chapter of Phong Trào Thiếu Nhi Thánh Thể Việt Nam tại Hoa Kỳ (Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement in the USA), organized under Liên Đoàn Nguồn Sống (Source of Life League of Chapters, Diocese of Orange), was formally established on January 16, 1994 at St. Polycarp Catholic Church in Stanton, California under the guidance of Father Giuse Nguyễn Văn Thành and the collaboration of a small group of young, spirited and determined individuals. Through meetings and activities, TNTTSP has inspired many individuals to join the religious life, such as Fr. Trung Pham, Fr. Martin Hiep Nguyen, Fr. Henry Nguyen, Sister Deliah Nguyen, and Sister Trang.

Thanks to the tireless work and sacrifice of all Huynh Trưởng’s (Youth Leaders) and benefactors, including former pastors and chaplains, the Vietnamese community at St. Polycarp, parents, and trợ tá (Parent Leaders), TNTTSP strive to carry out the Movement’s purposes:

  • To educate and train youths in becoming a better person as well as an excellent Christian.
  • To organize and to guide all youths in spreading the Good News of the Gospel and to actively be involved in working for the good of society through charitable services and helping others.
